SINPOA REFUND POLICY

You will be entitled to a refund, due to error from Sinpoa in administering your wallet address or public key, the funds are not correctly:

  • loaded by us to your wallet address or public key in accordance with the Wallet address Terms;
  • applied to buy and sell digital currencies;
  • applied to make funds transfers to bank accounts or mobile money wallets in your name; 

If you are a Consumer and have exercised your right to cancel your Sinpoa.com Account within the “Cooling-Off Period” as mentioned in the Terms and Conditions, we will refund amounts then in your Wallet less the amount of any transactions you have made or of any fees or costs that you may have incurred on the Digital Wallet, which are then due and payable by you.

SINPOA ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING AND COUNTER-TERRORIST FINANCING POLICY OVERVIEW

All Financial Services Providers have an obligation to assist in the efforts to combat Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing, and to minimise the risks of their product or service being used for those purposes. In order to achieve this, firms must have in place detailed and robust policies and procedures for Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF), covering all parts of the customer journey, to identify and mitigate the risks associated with the product or service in terms of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing. Money Laundering can be defined as: 'the conversion or transfer of property, knowing that such property is derived from criminal activity, or from an act of participation in such activity, for the purposes of concealing or disguising the illicit origin of the property, or assisting any person who is involved in the commission of such activity to evade the legal consequences of his action.'

POLICY

All SINPOA.COM (SINPOA) customers will be required to go through on-boarding process, in terms of identity verification, to ensure that ePayments, and by extension, SINPOA, can provide them financial services, and to ensure the company is meeting its obligations. The policy includes details relating to:

  • Establishing a customer's identity and verifying the information provided
  • Enabling the identification of unusual activity and facilitating the reporting of suspicious activity
  • Record keeping of customer documentation and transactional history
  • Internal responsibility for all AML activities SANCTIONS SINPOA is prohibited by law from conducting business with individuals or entities that appear on official Sanctions lists.

Therefore, all applicants are screened prior to a service being offered, and on an ongoing basis, to ensure that the company is authorized to have a business relationship with that customer.
